The only thing the GAP really has on the ACP is size.
Size is the only advantage as far as I know.

Good to point out. I should have mentioned that in my post.
Normally in a 10 rnd Mag. I cycle that round to the end of the mag. And by the time I reach 10 I would have fired them.
Again thank's for pointing that out.
For a week most likely not.
My Kel-Tec has been loaded for
over 2 years, last time out it did fine.
It will at some time make the spring weaker.
But $25.00 every 3 or so years is fine with me.
That's the price of a new mag. I don't know on the spring alone.
I tested mine myself.
I chamber a round, ejected it. --- Kel-Tec P-11 ---
Then measured it with a micrometer.
Next a took a NEW round out of the box and measured it.
There was no difference in the OAL or "size"
There for I feel it should be safe to fire.
This is obviously in no way a scientific...
I misunderstood your question.
I didn't know you were asking the question in effect
that is WAS legal.
I'd still be a bit afraid, but since you can go to war at 18.
Than why no be allow to carry at 18.
It would make me a bit worried, those 3 years until 21
make a lot of difference in some...
I don't condone breaking the law.
Also, if that person were to get caught, it's a good chance
he or she will not ever legally be allow the chance to
carry at 21+. Hope they have a lot of money for a good lawer...ect...ect.
And at 17 you are still a minor....NO...NO...NO.
I'd try some thing other than Hoppes.
It does a pretty good job on cleaning.
But for protecting it is not the best.
Try Barricade, or CLP.
I once bought a shotgun that was FULLY rust on the outside.
Apparently it spent most it's life in a barn.
I used 0000 steel wool to remove the rust.
Then...
If I put less than 100 through it, and they were jacketed than I do NOT use a brush. If more than 100 or there is visible powder residue in the barrel I will USE a brush.
If I use LEAD rounds. I DO use a brush.
Other wise I just run a few patches, then a jag, followed by a lubed patch...
Do you wipe down you firearm after handling it?
Not after shooting it, but lets say you pick it up, and
touch any of the metal surfaces. Do you wipe off the places you touched?
Just asking, as I personally do wipe mine down after touching any of the metal surfaces. I guess I just don't want...
Only when you first get it. And only with a clean patch.
NO oil/Cleaner on the patch.
Just when you see accuracy start to fall off you can run a patch of hopes. VERY light coat..Remember LIGHT.
Then a patch of alcohol to break the oil from the metal.
Then as many DRY patches as it take to get it...
Don't feel bad...I learned the hard way also.
I couldn't see any rust, but I all ways wipe mine down before shooting....VERY light coat of oil on out side, and to remove ALL oil in barrel before shooting.
I couldn't see or feel it on the rifle, but it was on the rag after wiping down. NONE of...
