    Should I pick 'er up?

It felt pretty solid. I didn't check when I was playing with it, but I have a feeling it's one of those ATI foldable stocks. The reviews on it seem ok.

    Should I pick 'er up?

I stopped into our local gun shop, which happens to also be a pawn shop, to talk about getting a couple guns transferred through him. I noticed a tactical-style shotgun up and the wall and asked about it. It ended up being a Mossberg 590 with a fold up stock, some sort of "rail" that was...

Which .308 black rifle for me?

ok, we'll just throw looks aside for now. I'm looking for under $1500 and MOA. Is RRA the only one that can guarantee that?

Which .308 black rifle for me?

ok, we'll rule it in for now then. Does it have a MOA guarantee? ***Edit*** I see on their site that they have a 1.5-2 MOA guarantee

Which .308 black rifle for me?

Basically I've narrowed it down to the RRA LAR-8 standard length (20" barrel) and the DPMS LR308 (24" stainless bull barrel). The armalite is out because I don't really like the look. My main question is... does DPMS have any sort of MOA guarantee? I know that the LAR-8's from RRA say that...

Can anyone tell me anything about this AK47 at my local shop?

Thanks for the info! I'll go take another look first thing, and if it's what I thought it was I'll probably pick 'er up! One last question though.... I doubt its the "classic" model, and the only ones I see for sale have synthetic stocks. Did Arsenal used to offer AK's that had wood...

Can anyone tell me anything about this AK47 at my local shop?

Are the WASR's conversions just as much as Saiga's are? Are there actually very few "real" ak47's around? (maybe they HAVE to be "converted: to be imported?"

Can anyone tell me anything about this AK47 at my local shop?

A few weeks ago I decided I was going to pick up an AK. The only one's I've been seen around here are the WASR's at dunhams. Today my local shop got an AK47 in trade and know they're selling it. From what I have gathered and seen, it is an Arsenal Las Vegas AK47, 7.62. It has wood...

If you were a WWII infantry soldier...

took twice as much ammo to kill a guy, so I guess they would have to carry 2x more ;)

If you were a WWII infantry soldier...

The guy was Carwood Lipton, a good friend of my gpa's until he died a couple years ago. He told my gpa that he climbed up that tree to get a better view of the nests. He wasn't a sniper (thought he was a decent shot) and he had a carbine because that's the gun he had found (a lot of them lost...

    Question about my AR-15's accuracy

I'm using 20 rd mags. I've got sandbags on a wooden box so the mag isn't even close to touching. I'm gonna call bushmaster tomorrow and see what they think.

    Question about my AR-15's accuracy

well I shoot 1" groups with my garand at 100 yds on a regular basis. I've shot a lot of guns, just no AR-15's.

    Question about my AR-15's accuracy

So how can I tell if the barrel nut is loose? What I think is the barrel nut, or at least it's cover, can definitely rotate a very small amount back and forth. Is that considered "loose." I'm very new to AR-15's so pardon my ignorance. :)
