This new offering doesn’t seem to be getting much love in that I‘ve found just a few passing mentions.
Given the recent introduction, it might be of some use to mention compatible accessories.

Muddy River Tactical is now making an OWB Holster and Black Scorpion makes an IWB w/o claw. I’m sure there are many others, especially companies that make race holsters.

I am using a green MRS EPS via an Impact Machine Optics Plate.

I’m currently using mostly M&P variant, might use this concealed, but that would be after a few months of range use. Anyone else using other holsters…etc?

Other than photos, I am ignorant about this offering.

I have a Shadow2 which is a heavy gun, so my tiny mind just figures the sawed off version is only 6 oz or so lighter; not enough to interest me.

Please tell us about your experience with this pistol.

Go outside the "forums", the S2C is a hot seller for CZ.
I bought mine a week or two after they were released for 1200. My LGS has sold 3 additional compacts, they didn't last but a few hours.

Am waiting on JM Custom holsters, I've bee in contact with them and they are currently working on holsters.

I've added the extended Shadow 2 safety, S2 orange mag release, Lok palmswell alloy grips, CGW safety lever spring and S2 Orange disco and polished the internals.

The trigger at half cock is 6.5lb with a 3lb SA with short fast reset due to S2O disco.

This will replace my PCR and P01 as carry guns once JM holsters come online.

It's an alloy framed compact version of the optics ready Shadow 2.

It's darn near the same size and weight of P01.
The S2 guns, removed weight from slides and added it to frames when compared to traditional 75 guns. They are also cut higher in the trigger guard and beavertail. For me it's a more comfortable gun in the hand and when shooting.
Due to the weight being shifted, my S2C handles recoil better then both my pcr and p01.

I haven’t much to say since it is new to me. I can find the wall of my 1911s and M&Ps, but it might be awhile before NDs go away. I just need to shoot it more. Very accurate and fast, when I do my part, but won’t be carrying it for awhile.

I have the S2 Orange and agree that the trigger is too light for CC, at least for me. I assume the stock S2 Compact will not be as light, but the lack of a decocker is keeping me away from buying one for CC. I'll probably crack and buy one soon though. Having my CC be the same basic gun as I shoot 200+ rounds a week through is very appealing.

Looks like they solved our problem with it being a light SA : " the trigger at half cock is 6.5 pounds and 3 pounds cocked with fast reset thanks to S2) disco "

The Orange, compared to both the regular shadow and compact is that the orange is hand fit and polished. Also has a competition hammer and what CZ calls the zero disconnect or disco. I also believe the main spring is a hair lighter, 12lb vs 14lb. All that leads to a lighter shorter reset trigger pull.

My stock compact had higher numbers, but I added the S2O disco and polished the internals and also changed to 13 lb main spring. The disco doesn't affect trigger weight just reset.

If you wanted a higher SA, one can add a tanfoglio sear spring, there is also a company that makes heavier sear springs, Zendel I believe.

Yeah, I'm sure I could play with springs to make it safer, but the lack of a decocker is still a concern.

I’m new to CZ.. Is there a simple way to change the manual safety to a decocker?

I think the Omega Trigger allows this. There is a SP01 Omega full Cajun Guns custom for sale around here for $1200 that SHOULD be able to switch back to decocker easily . I don't know about the Shadow 2 system .

No.

Only the later style Omega in the metal framed guns can you swap.
CZ made the first Omega in the traditional 75 that couldn't swap.
The later styles in the 75, P01 and P07/09 can swap. The Omegas are now discontinued, and IMO an inferior trigger system.

No Shadow line of gun has ever had a decocker or Omega trigger system.
