The title is a touch misleading. I only installed a Bisley hammer on my flattop .45 Convertible. But it now carries a bisley hammer and oversized cylinder pin and I’m pretty happy about it. Its far from perfect and any gunsmith worth his salt would not be impressed but this is a daily use revolver and isn’t trying to win any beauty pageant. Learned alot about Ruger Blackhawks in the process. Mostly how much of a b**ch the trigger pin is remove.
The learning curve was to perfectly match the radius of the top rear of the plow handle frame. But thankfully I bought two hammers and can always try again later. But this one will ride for now.
