DAO Only Hammer-fired Pistol other than Sig P250??

The H&K LEM trigger is a hammered fired gun but the main spring is partially cocked like many striker fired pistol. The trigger cocks the hammer when pulling the trigger.

I have a P30SK with the LEM trigger. If I remember correctly, you can get a second chance pull on the trigger if the first pull does not ignite the round but the trigger pull is akin to a conventional DA trigger pull.

I like a DA/SA semi-auto but I’m warming to the LEM trigger vs a conventional striker fired gun.

PS, I have a P30SK-V3 trigger, the DA/SA version.

My EDC is a P2SK LEM. So I know they exist. 😉

It is essential to know if the LEM trigger has second strike capability. If it doesn't have it, it cannot be considered a DAO. H&Ks have various trigger configurations marked with the letter V followed by a number. I'm sure one of these (actually two) configurations is full DAO (excluding for now the LEM even if HK do list it as "enhanced DAO"). I just don't remember ever seeing a V5 or V6 version.

Yes it is second strike or 100 strike capable. However, you lose the pretensioned hammer pull so it is slightly heavier.

The H&K LEM modules have full DAO capability...first the lighter trigger pull after you cycle the slide to chamber a round and a heavier trigger stroke if you lower the hammer all the way down to rest against the firing pin.

You seldom see the Variant 5 or 6 because of the popularity of the LEM variant

Thank you guys for the explanations.
