I love mine also. I have this 4-in and I have the 6 and 1/2 in.Man it’s a tough one but I’d have to say my brand new no box 624 no dash is my favorite. Shoots like a laserView attachment 1206763
My 686 no – is certainly a keeper. I love this gun. It's actually in the top five of my handgunsView attachment 1206766
I have others that are rarer, more valuable, or more accurate, but the 686 is still my favorite.
I used to shoot clay pigeons at the 100 yard berm with it. Hit one about once a cylinder. Really proves short barrels can shoot, it’s just tougher with the shorter sight radiusI own quite a few and there’s just something about my 686 that just works! I was shocked to group as well as I did with such a short barrel. Plus the grips are phenomenal.
M-1905 Targetmodel 14?
Sam Colt was dead long before a cartridge revolver with his name on it was built.Depends on who you ask. Some people said Colt was Left Handed and put the gate on the Right… Other Say differently
the loading gates on my colts clones are on the right so who knows?Sam Colt was dead long before a cartridge revolver with his name on it was built.

2020 Colt SAA .45 Colt. Just total charm and sex. Distilled.
Ask me in ten minutes and I might say Something else. Such is the way of gun ownership.
That’s a beauty. I love the grip panels. What kind of wood are they?I am right there with you on the S&W 624. I have other revolvers chambered in 44 Special but my 4” 624 is probably my favorite.View attachment 1206830
