Pic of my youngest at the range. First time he fired a real firearm. He zeroed and engaged targets out to 300 yards with accuracy.

GRRRReat!!

Army_eod--Nice going! Teach the young'un safe gun handling, do the KISMIF thing (Keep It Simple, Make It Fun) and you have a shooting buddy for life. I fail to see a down-side to that!

Starting my own #1 son shooting was a blast (pun intended) which every dad should have.

Again, nice going! And, good shooting to the young'un! :) :)

Cool :)

Nothing like teaching the next generation how to handle firearms. Keep it up :) I've had all 4 of my daughters out to the range. I don't do a particular age limit, just a few criteria... 1) if the kid wants to shoot, 2) if they know the four rules, 3) they are big enough to hold a gun properly, and 4) if they can demonstrate safe proceedures with an unloaded weapon at home.

Here's a snap of my daughter with a suppressed uzi... her 2nd full auto :)
