i do realize that my aim may be part of it, but there's just something about these sights that i dont like. maybe i'm too used to the single bead sight that's on my shotgun. its almost like the front pin on the ak's sight is too big for my liking. i can put the sight where i think it should...
I've taken my new wasr-10 to the range a few times now. i first was trying for 100 yards, and wasnt successful at all, so i moved to 50 yards. i hit about a 6 inch group (6 inches from the center in any given direction) taking about 5-7 seconds between shots to re-aquire the sights, so i...
I stopped in to check them out last week, just to see for myself that they're what i was looking for, and to see how many they had as well. they had about 7 wasr-10's and a whole case next to it of the single stack's.
My local dunhams has a black friday sale on the rifles for 289. me and a friend are planning on showing up bright and early at 5am to each get one.
ill be posting a picture at oh about 7am :)
Describe the canted sights, as in how will i know if they're bad? The loose mag is self explanatory. and also, how can i look at the trigger assembly and see if its the G2 that you speak of?
These are the century arms built wasr-10's, (not sure if there's anyone else who makes the wasr-10, i'm kinda in the dark). The advertisement says its the double stack, so If I do get this, i wont need to get out my dremel. I'm unsure about the ammo though, i believe its the 7.62, but dont...
My local dunhams sporting store has a full case of NIB WASR-10's for 300 dollars a piece. I've been thinking of getting something to lob some shells down range, rather than sticking to the handgun and shotgun benches. Other than the cool factor of having an AK hanging on my wall, is the...
Hmmm, quite interesting. I had just assumed the shrapnel pieces were the hollow points, and the pieces left in one large solid chunk were the slugs. It does make sense though in saying shooting metal makes a bullet react much different than a body would.
No, sorry, no bloody torn apart bodies here. I was out doin some heavy target practice, firing about 100 rounds into an old empty freon keg. It was pretty shredded up when I was done with it, enough so that I was able to shake out some of the slugs and shrapnel left inside the tank. I thought...
yes i do wear an undershirt to separate the holster from my body. i would think having spent 70 dollars on a holster would have at least kept moisture off of it.
I've been carrying my Sig P226 for about a month now, and when trying to conceal it i wear my IWB style holster. This is the holster i bought- http://www.desantisholster.com/028.html
After wearing it for about an hour while working, there's a few spots of moisture on the side of the gun that...
i'm actually not in any pain or discomfort in the least bit, i feel great. i even went down to the work shop tonight to help a friend start painting a car, which we're going to be finishing tomorrow. i'm going to be making a two hour drive on sunday regardless, as i have to be back to college...
So i'm planning on picking up my newly purchased CPO SIG 229 .40. My problem is, I just got my wisdom teeth pulled this morning. The only drugs they have me taking are 600mg ibuprofen. is there anything that will stop me from doing some target practice and burning through 100 rounds?
next time i get out shootin, ill have to try holding the elbow out instead of tucking it in, see if that is any more comfortable. the bruising on the bicep never really hurt or bothered me, i just thought it was kind of abnormal. I can definitely understand how it all depends on the situation...
after my last few outtings for target practice, and putting around 100 rounds through my 870, i've noticed that my bicep was bruising along with my shoulder. the shoulder is understandable, obviously, but i was kind of wondering about the bicep. I have the knoxx copstock on my 870, and for...
i just talked to my college buddy who's in the law enforcement program, and he told me that in minnesota we're not allowed to carry while driving. so i'd have to take it off every time i got into a vehicle and drove. for this reason, i guess i'm going to need to find a clip on type rather than...
quite the selection available, i like :)
question though, some sites have a feature to search for holsters for a specific gun. i'm attempting to search for holsters for a sig 226, and its asking just plain 226, 226 with rail, and 226 with rail bobbed hammer. i have no idea what the rail or...
