Yea, but that doesn't level the scope, it still has to be leveled before/as you tighten down the rings. And yes, some rings/how some people tighten rings, can move the scope off of level.
I don't load anything lighter than 250 Gr in .45 Colt anymore, just couldn't get the good burn I wanted with lighter weights.
But of course millions of light weight .45 Colt loads get shot every year, and the crud polishes off the cases.

If you are only going to shoot prone or off of a bench, and especially reaching out there, the 24" is the way to go.
If you are going to be walking around with it a lot.......but a walking around gun/long distance gun have so little in common......
Mine's at least that old, and I can do it, I just stopped doing it. I have a folder "Load Development With Target Pics" where I put the pics.
Sometimes just a target pic, sometimes pics of the setup, the primers, the targets, etc. Just depends. Noted in the Excel file of course.
That's weird, if it fits the Sheridan case gauge it should fit into the WFT.
Do you have any other .223 cases you can try? A way to check the ID of the bearing in the WFT?
Is the neck not going in, or does it stop at the body? I'm suspecting the trimmer at this point.
