Turkeys may not be operating high speed fiber internet access or flying F-35 fighter jets, but they are pretty smart. They do communicate with one another and distinguish between threat types and whatnot.

The trigger weight and rifle weight should be whatever weights the shooter is comfortable with and shoots well. The notion that weight should correspond to application (in this case, firearms) isn't a bad starting point on one's journey to finding what one likes, but should in no way be...
I didn't see this cited previously. Two guys were arrested and pled guilty of poaching burros and using illegal gear...

That is probably because he didn't shoot anybody with live ammo. He used live ammo. He just missed.
The deceased was pretty chill before he started shooting as well.
I mount and zero my own gear. Sometimes I eyeball it. Sometimes I use levels. I torque to spec. and if no spec. is given, then to common amounts.
I didn't realize some people don't mount their own scopes until I bought some land and discovered my neighbor was a retired gunsmith. I learned...
Getting good with a bad trigger will make you good with that bad trigger.
Most shooters will take longer to get good with a bad trigger, which makes it a terrible teaching aid unless your goal is to slow their progress and/or frustrate them.
I am guessing you ended up concentrating more on...
Well, you would have to get everyone to agree on exactly what those terms mean and apply them across the board equally, and that just isn't happening. "Invasive," for example, has been defined by scientists, the government, and lay people, the the criteria not applied equally. In other words...
There are those that certainly do disagree.

I can answer this fairly definitely. MAYBE. However, I would say the odds are much more in favor of x51.
x51 should do more damage than x39. That additional damage may make a less good shot better in terms of stopping a threat by damaging structures the x39 bullet would fail to damage. I...
Yes, not awake yet, but what you say fits well. You could largely avoid the whole recoil issue with goggles, an IR light and IR laser.
You could go cheaper and a little heavier with a helmet mounted Sionyx digital night vision (DNV) setup for one eye or spend more and go with real traditional...
LOL, it must be early because I am trying to rectify in my mind the dichotomy of these two options. That would be sort of like asking if folks would rather own a donkey or a spastic greyhound. Neither really covers the same functional areas of the other except from a very generalized...
You are going to want to be discerning in the NV or thermal gear you purchase. Not all of it is rated for shotguns.
No single projectiles? That is going to be something of a range limiter. Hopefully, this is just the first baby step to getting the public used to the concept and night safety?
Colonial Female owners of guns....I did find.

Should it matter? LOL. If the thread was about beliefs, then no, but the thread was about ownership. Also, there were statements made that people needed firearms to eat and surprise expressed if anyone didn't own a firearm. So, that aspect was addressed as well, again, has nothing to do with...
Here is the estate of founding father John Adams (not JQA as originally written, thank you orpington!). He was apparently quite wealthy. I don't see any firearms listed and the list is extensive, down to things like 1 pair spectacles. I could have missed it, but I don't see any listed...
Then you would be very surprised.
First of all, you keep making fairly absolutist statements that are overly easy to refute by examples to the contrary. You would be surprised if ANYONE back then didn't have a firearm of some sort?
Okay, most women, slaves, and children did not own firearms...
