The Taurus 66 is a medium frame revolver that has adjustable sights. I don't know if they make a small frame revolver with adjustable sights. The Model 82 has fixed sights. https://www.taurususa.com/revolvers/medium-frame-revolvers/taurus-66

That is a really nice collection you have there, and the Colt Official Police is a great revolver. I have never thought about collecting varieties (such as different barrel lengths) of a specific revolver, but you are off to a really good start. Wonder what other varieties of OP revolvers are...
I guess you never know when a cool old revolver might turn up. This one came to me from a deceased relative and though I knew him for FORTY years, I never knew he had it. It is a Pocket Positive from 1910, but in .32 Police CTG, so it shoots .32 S&W quite well...a really soft shooting little...

From what I have read, that appears to be a "Crown W" mark that indicates the revolver was inspected at Woolwich Arsenal in the UK. What a cool Official Police you have!

I want to thank all you folks for the replies - have learned a lot. That Gunblast article linked to by Steve C was really something else. I'll definitely go with 158 grain 38 spl. +P for practice if I don't try that low recoil 357. Helping the revolver last forever is something I would like...
Thanks, guys! I WAS amazed, really, by the bluing - quite pretty. As for the ammo, well, that is indeed what I was pondering: what diet would be a "last forever" diet. So perhaps I'll just stick to 158-gr. 38 as that is what I am used to dealing with and it is fairly easy to get.
