I've been coyote hunting for about 15 years and have been very successful but I rarely have hunted at night. This season I'd like to hunt more at night and see what happens. I went out tonight and just got home. Nothing was stirring, not even a mouse. I find myself scanning with the red...
Black Market? That's not even the half of it. There's a huge black market for used guns in this country already. Paperwork? Not hardly...The prez & company have created so many underground movements already they'll never get even a small percentage of guns hanging around our blocks.
retiredchief: that reminds me of something. I shot a squirrel once with a 22/250. He disappeared, except for the 2 little back feet still gripping the branch:evil:
Jumbo: from what I saw, he must have jumped up there. I've seen them enough to know they're very agile and nimble but didn't realize they could jump that high.
Upstate New York helps fight crime by turning illegal weapons into jewelry...and then sells the parts for 10 times more than the gun costs! New York State...
I came across an old wooden tree stand about 7' off the ground, no limbs on the way up to it. There was a coyote sleeping on the platform, 7' off the ground with no obvious way to get up there. It was in the summer and I was just trailwalking, had no gun. I got to about 20' from him and he...
Back in the olden days most of my guns were bought via layaway. Fifty bucks here, 20 bucks there, I just didn't have the money or the credit cards. Without layaway, I wouldn't have half the guns/hunting equipment I have now. When I'd pick one up, I'd put another on layaway at the same time...
I shoot coyotes at less than a hundred yards. Any $50 scope I find at a yard sale is plenty good for me, I have many of those and they serve me just fine. Shooting 1000 yard matches? Maybe you need a $1000 scope. I don't know since I've never shot that far. Buying what you need is frugal...
I don't have one either. Close as I've come is many years ago I had a Mini 14, couldn't hit crap with it, sold it. I don't care for semi auto anything, including handguns.
Pick up your own brass, keep it or put it in the brass buckets. If there's something in the brass bucket you want, take it before the bucket emptiers get there.
I've never seen a factory kit that I've liked with everything I needed in it. I got several and took out what I wanted, started my own kit. Now I just buy replacement material when I run out. I prefer the one pc rods, the multiple pc ones seem to bend at the joint.
I don't know what the surprise is here. As soon as he got into office he did a 180. Spends a lot of time playing grab a$$ with a liberal president. Birds of a feather...
