I gave up Facebook when I quit hand making ukuleles and selling them there. Too much political banter. A few years later, a son of my cousin died and I didn't learn about for some time. Shame on me for not being in closer contact. I have since rejoined hoping to stay in touch with family other...
I shot my friend's S&W 610 with a Burris 2x20 today at 25 yards. At that distance the field of view was about 30" wide. I had trouble picking up on the target. I need something to aid my old eyes, but I am not ready for a scope.
I have been using RCBS Uniflow and RCBS Lil' Dandy for many years. Good quality and great customer service. I do not load for bench rest or serious match competitions.
I bought the Glock 40 MOS version and mounted a Holosun 507c optic. I carry it in a Hill People Gear chest pack. I considered the Glock 20, but I wanted the optic without having the slide milled. I handload the 10mm and plan to hunt deer with it this fall.
In an effort to stimulate the economy, I purchased a Glock 40 MOS, Holosun 507c, Hornady dies and reloading components. Thinking I want to kill a deer this fall with the 10mm. FWIW, all my bills and taxes are paid and there are funds in the savings account. We live frugally most of the time.
I have loaded thousands of 9mm and 45 acp on my Redding T-7 turret. My dies are made by Hornady. I leave the dies on the press. Works great for me. I do not get in a hurry.
I see the pictures. Mass is good for a reloading bench. Place a shelf near the bottom and use gallon jugs of water, sand bags or something heavy as ballast.
I sometimes park in an adjacent church parking lot and lock up the gun. Car is locked too. Other times, I go to the post office unarmed and then go back home for a weapon. (5 minute drive)
