Hi, this question may sound foolish so forgive me in advance :o The question is if you have a pistol like a S&W 686, will always shooting it in single action mode cause it to wear faster then using double action? I was wondering since I prefer to cock it for each shot.

I own a 686 and my father owns a GP100, either guns are top in my book. If I were to choose between them the 686 would edge it out simply due to what I feel is a smoother trigger which gives me a more consistent groping.

As others have stated a .22 is better then nothing at all. With that said I really don’t see any reason with all the guns and ammo to choose from to carry anything less then a .380 for defense.

Its a good show, I like to watch it also. They are filmed very well, but as others have said it is to be taken with a grain of salt. I’m sure they take some liberties when filming it to give a more action. Bottom line is I give it a thumbs up.

I try to get out at least 1 time a week. I'll shoot a mix of 22 and another caliber, like 9mm or 357. I like to shoot 100 or so 22 followed by 50-100 of the other. I shoot whatever brand runs good that's on sale usualy WWB, for the 22 since they are so cheap the way it is I prefer mini mags...

I own a XD-9 Service model and never had one problem with it to feed or extract. I have around 800 rounds through it so far. The only complaint I have is that it has very weak finish, doesn’t take long to start to show wear. The finish doesn’t bother me since my guns are for shooting not for...

I own both the P22 and the Neos. I have had zero problems with either one, in feeding and reliability. Both are great pistols and are loads of fun to shoot.

I'm sure glock is a very fine gun, but I prefer my XD 9. What turned me off from getting a glock was the grip angle. Only thing one can do is try both out.

I totaly understand, any Saturday or Sunday is ok with me.
