Shoot for right behind the driver's side headlight, from the side. That's where the TCM (transmission control module) is for most cars (between fender and battery). In some cars, the trans will dump into "limp home mode", in others the trans will simply fail instantly.
Keep in mind a...
I'd do what I did as a teenager, just no BB/pellet guns....collect knives and learn to use primitive weapons. I used to be able to drop a flying crow with a boomerang with about 50% reliability (which is darn good for such a device IMO). For the record, crows were a pest species in the area I...
edit: removed first half of post, it wasn't high road...my bad.
Personally, I think dropping a few poison pill amendments to any such bill would be good. One would be to repeal the hughes amendment. If that slips through, it could be fun.
The current standard scout knife is now a China made stainless knife (not sure what shop makes it). I got to handle one the other day and while the build is competant, I don't feel the materials and craftmanship is up to par compared to even the old knock-off scout knives from the good ol days...
Cleaning a gun is of more value than just cleaning it. I use my cleanings as a chance to visually inspect parts. The dirty fluid going about is great as a simple way to spot hairline cracks in the metal and whatnot.
I've actually repaired things before they failed based on issues I spotted...
There's a few shops out here with Milsurps....one wants $400 for a Nagant....the other sells them for a fair price, but is an online shop with a pseudo storefront, which means you can't ask to see x many rifles and cherry pick.
I'd be inclined to think a spray down with enough napalm will get rid of it.
Burn the oxygen out of the internal compartment and things will come ot a stop real fast.
The point is, get a holster of some kind if you're pocket carrying.
Be sure it fits the gun well. My Duct-tape job was because the UM did not fit well. Some guns are just too small even for their number one.
Friends do not force friends to do things they don't want to do.
That said, I am an NRA member, but not a big fan of some of the compromises they've made in the past, compromises that I feel weren't worth the benefit provided from the situation in some cases. However, they're better than the...
It's things like this that inspiring my vision for a custom AR build: Birdseye Maple furniture (fixed position M-16 style hardware) and polished metal abound. Let's see them freak out over the fancy-sporterized no-longer-black possibly evil rifle :)
Only thing holding me back is cash. I...
I'm going to post this pic to show you can make a holster out of duct tape...been using this one for months. Only issue is it leaves a line of adhesive on my nice rosewood grips.
Reason for this one was to prevent handle printing.
Man, they beat me to it....I wanted to make a store called "The 'other' ATF" and have it be a mini-mall...one shop liquor (no consumption area though, shooters should be sober), one shop tobacciana (complete with a smoker's lounge), one shop firearms (complete with a range).
Hoppes no9 for most cleaning. To clear out significant copper foulingl, KG12. To lubricate, Hoppes oil.
That's it. To this day, I have not seen a single copper solvent on par with KG12. you can put a soaked patch in a bore that has actual jacket fragments pressure-fused to the rifling...
Rule 1 of support (different field, same business) is to never even touch an issue that's out of scope.
If they don't offer a left-hand model, that's the first thing to get out of the way. However a "I hope you feel better" would have been a good opener.
Problem is a "I'm sorry you're...
You're better off with good ol sights compared to cheap optics.
A set of iron sights would do you wonders.
Also keep in mind 60yds is where bullet drop starts becoming a serious issue.
Civil trials here are pretty reasonable compared to other states. I should know, I've been a civil juror here....just a month ago to be exact.
In a civil case, we do get leniency on where fault begins and ends in some cases. Like for an accidental injury claim, every arguing point is...
Same, it's asking questions for me as well. It's to stop macro voters.
After all, any person with a Windows computer could automate their voting system.
I do wish they had an email-in vote option though. That way I could just fire off an email using hotmail from my phone every hour or so.
