    What did you shoot today?

Took the Marlin XT-22 magnum out back to check the zero and accuracy of the Hornady vs CCI 30 grain ammo at 50 yards. Hot and muggy but both did OK with the Hornady being slightly better. It will be on standby for the next coon that shows up under the bird feeder.

What have you done in the reloading room today

There have been 31 clean, sized and trimmed pieces of 223 brass sitting on the bench just waiting for me to do something with them. Went down and primed them with some Remington 7 1/2 primers and loaded them with 24 grains of H335 with a Sierra 63 grain SMP over it. Very therapeutic...

    Revolver Resurgence-?

With the arthritis in both my wrists I am finding it harder to manually operate the slides on my semi auto pistols. That's the main reason that revolvers are working better for me these days in my new found decrepitude.

Two in 45/70, one a Pedersoli Sharps the other a Uberti trapdoor carbine. I also have a couple 58 caliber muzzle loaders.

I needed another old .22 like a hole in the head....

OK, this got me wondering that, if a gill gun is one of your grail guns, would that make it a "grill" gun..? ;)

Moose Elk and Coyote, no Turks.

The hedge stumps around here are really tough. I like shooting the hedge balls but they don't cook up very well either. ;)

They look a bit too much like those wooden stocked toy rifles we had as kids back in the 60's. Well, except for the metal bayonets...

Ruger Mini Thirty. On the fence.

I bought my Mini 30 in the early/mid 90's. From the serial number it's one of the early versions from 1986. I thought it would be a handy deer rifle and I mounted a small Burris 4x scope on it. With that and the reloads that it likes it will shoot 1" groups at 100 yards. (Well, it did when my...

Taurus hit a Grand Slam with this gun.

We bought a 92C back in the early 90's. The wife liked it and it fit her pretty well so she "claimed" it. It's one of the stainless versions so I call it the "nickle plated sissy pistol". ;) I still have it and it's always been a good shooting pistol.
