I replaced the link on my 94 and need a new friction stud. I've found a hollow version and non-hollow. My rifle is in the 3 million serial number range. Which stud should I get, or does it matter?
Thanks
Like others have said, it's not a bad little pistol.
The only complaint I've had with mine is the magazine release is too easy to accidentally trip.
I do like the fact that with some internet searching, you can get lots of cheap factory mags.
Gentlemen, I am looking for an online retailer to buy an Mtech twist from, but although I have found a few by google, I don't know which outfits to trust. You who have been there before can greatly benefit me with your advice on trusted sources.
Thank you.
Never had one, but yours are beautiful.
There is something about old cop shotguns that call to me.
I just wish I had been born rich instead of so damn handsome.
Kabar
Check out this link, it's what convinced me to buy one.

I'm really impressed with it so far. One thing I noticed is that it has a blade profile very similar to my Cold Steel SRK, just in a smaller package.
After getting my new Kabar Navy (thanks to this site) and looking at it and a few other knives this weekend, I have a question.
Why is there a semi-circular cutout at the back of the blade?
You know what I'm talking about.
Does it have a name? Why is it there?
Yeah, it was beautiful when new.
The finish on this one was destroyed when I got it. I just polished it up when removing the remnants.
Any recomendations on recoating it? I've been thinking duracoat.
Thanks Teej6, yes it is marked Kabar on the blade. The blade is a very hard metal, so I'm guessing 440 would be correct.
My dad bought my original copy in 86 for a Christmas gift. I carried it everywhere for years until losing it while working in a field.
One of the best parts is that...
Can anyone tell me anything about this knife?
It originally had a black finish on it that I had to remove. May duracoat it later, but I must admit the shiny look is pretty cool :D
I had one years ago, but lost it as a teenager. Found this one on ebay after finally figuring out what I was...
