I have both, Glock 30 and a Springfield compact. I perfer the Glock for some of the reasons already stated, shoots anything I feed it, more rounds and a tack driver to boot! Yes it's thicker than the 1911 but weight wise they feel about the same. So the only advantage the 1911 has over the 30 is...
I used to hate them also. Until I bought a Glock 30 like you. You will be pleased. Best gun I have ever owned! I am wearing mine as I speak. Welcome to the dark side, there is no return.:)
With what you are saying, would you not be better served to carry a gun with just one round in it that you know will blow up when shot? That way when the bad guy takes it from you he gets his hand blown off. Doesn't make much since does it? You do what you wish, me, I'll carry enough fire power...
Well, first off I would never pay $400.00 for an SKS. But different strokes for different folks as they say. The shotgun will do you fine if all you want is one gun.
Yep. My wife's and I's debit card has been hit three times in the last year and a half. I check my account online at least weekly. Don't know if you can do this with credit cards or not, don't use them.
Bought some at Dick's in Plainfield about a year ago, and last time I checked, they had it at Wal-Mart in Martinsville. You may have to leave the "city" to find it.
In the winter I switch to a shoulder holster for my Glock 30 with the coat opened for an easy draw. In addition I carry a S&W 642 in my right coat pocket. That way I can have my hand on a gun at all times. I guess in this case my main gun is the 642 and the Glock is my back up. May not work for...
I own many different brands. Some brands out there I will swear by, others I will swear at. Not loyal to any one brand. I love most of them in one way or another. Although, However my most carried gun is my Glock. But I own only one Glock and have doubles of other brands.
