The Remington 870 is the Chevy 350 of shotguns. The Pardner pump
is the Tata of china :D
Ok I have shot both of these guns and you can notice the quality right
away. The Patner Pump might be ok for HD but, if you shoot a lot I would
want something that will last.
I think a .22 is not enough for ccw duty.
If I was going to use a .22 for this I would probably
get the NAA Black Widow and keep it loaded with
.22 WMR's.
I was going to say Glock 36 that way you can feed it
ammo from the 1911 :D
Ok out of the two choices I picked the Glock 23.
The Glock 36 is really nice for ccw though.
Well $200 dollars limits the choices greatly but, you can get
a Armscor M200 (.38 special) for that price.
For a little more you are into Kel Tec and Bersa territory.
For another hundred you can get the S&W Sigmas in 9mm
or .40cal
I would save up a bit more or buy something used.
