As much as I try, I can't see the point of this rifle.
Don't get me wrong, I love my AR15, and I love my 10/22, but that's because one of them is POWERFUL and ACCURATE, and the other one is LIGHT and HANDY... this is neither.
I am a lefty, and right handed bolt actions don't really bother me unless I am shooting from standing and the rifle is fairly heavy. Then I have do drop from the "ready" position to charge the handle. For bench shooting it doesn't bother me at all.
And I don't want to have as many people with stupid opinions out there as already are, but it doesn't keep me from respecting their right to run their mouth off:rolleyes:
The problem is that he violated the basic rules of gun safety- know your target and what's beyond it.
You don't have to be young to be stupid. However, if you are young, and stupid, I would rather you be in the woods with a gun than on the road with a car.

I have a Mueller APV on a 10/22, and another on my savage 110. They are decent for a cheap scope, my main complaint is the terrible eye relief, but it's okay for a plinker. Definitely not at all in the same league as my Bushnell 3200, but less than half the cost.
Mountain lions are smaller than humans. They are a lot less aggressive too, so unless you're specifically hunting them, you should be more than covered with a 9MM.
