I have a Remington model 1100 light 20 gauge. That runs perfectly with two shells. But if I put three in it, if Miss feeds and jams. What should I be looking at?
Hello, I have a JP Sauer and suhl SxS in 20 gauge with light primer strikes in the left barrel. I can’t find a new hammer spring at all the usual places. Does anyone have any suggestions where to find a repair manual, or parts.
Hello I just purchased a old Sauer and suhl double barrel, that has light primer strikes in the left barrel. I was hoping that someone much wiser than I could give my guidance on how to fix this.
I just purchased one of my dream rifles. A Stevens model 417 Walnut Hill. This rifle was drilled and tapped for scope mounts at the factory, but none of my usual places have any record of what type of scope bases this would take. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I haven’t had a time to properly clean or shoot it yet. But it appears to be darn near a smoothbore. When I shoot it I’ll try and use heavy patching. If it doesn’t work, I will take everyone’s advice, and have it re-lined. I’ve wanted a 58 for sometime.
I just acquired a Thompson center renegade in 58 caliber. The barrel is severely eroded with hardly any rifling left. I was hoping to pick up a used barrel on eBay, but there are none to be had. I also haven’t been able to find any aftermarket barrels. Does anybody have any suggestions?
i have a nice old Ruger model 44 that shoots two feet to the right at fifty yards with the iron sights at full deflection. Has anyone ever encountered this? I would love to be able to fixt his.
I have a Colt (Walter) 1911 Gold Cup that I did a complete detail strip on. After reassembly the hammer will not stay back. What did I do wrong?
I did not stone anything, they are just factory parts.
I wanted to document what the problem was for when this problem crops up again. It was a weak spring in the magazine! It was a fluke for a new fctory magazine to come improperly adjusted, but it can happen. And is a easy fix.
I installed a Volquartsen hammer in a 10/22 and now it will not cycle using CCI mini mags. I have to manually cycle the bolt to fire the second shot. What did I do wrong?
I like Skinner sights. I have one on my Henry Golden Boy, but they didn't exist in 1961.
I hope to wind up with a 39a the way it would have been equipped in 1961.
Thanks though.
I just bought a nice old Marlin 39a made in 1961.
I would like to put a Redfield or Lyman receiver sight on it, but would like it to be period correct.
What model sight should I use?
Anyone have one for sale?
