Have a ruger p97 dc have heard that the srping should be installed the same way it comes out when its broke down question is the spring has a large OD and small OD the spring came out with the small OD out with the barrel is this correct. It seems backwards thats why i ask?

I have recently purchased one of these used and have noticed the slop between the slide and the handle, and also the ease of jacking the slide. I was wondering if this is normal or not, i would appreciate any info anyone has.:confused::confused:

Hey all, Anyone who can help my problem is that i bought a ruger 97DC and the barrel is very lose while the slide is in the returned position like if the magazine is empty, is this normal or not? HELP PLEASE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW BEFORE I FIRE IT!!
