Hi guys,i'm checking to see if (with all the knowledge the people on this fourm has) if this ammo is corrsive or not .It is marked LC 53 and is M1 grand clips any info would be greatly appreciated Tony
I can tell you a way to make sure ups gets a signature every time ... I had ordered a drill press and another power tool and one showed up and the other did not so i filed a claim with them . The claim went smooth and received the lost tool but ten years later i have to sign for everything I...
Thanks for all your replies, I have checked my reloading manuals Hornady has the COL listed at 1.230 my Lee has a min of 1.190.It is true that I dont know the powder Remington uses in their rounds, so it looks like I will be spending some time pulling bullets and loading them to what my gun...
It is a Para double stack 10rd compact,I loaded 10 at 1.230 and can fit all 10 in and feeds just fine at 1.250 I can only fit 5 or 6 then the round gets stuck in the mag.and cant fit any more in and wont feed either
Thank you if it helps they are a bulk 100 round white and green box guess,I guess I could always pull the bullet and reload with powder (231) and make them what I need.
I have a little problem and need a little help.I have some Remington 230gr jhp 45.acp from wally world and the oal is to long for my magzines.I do reload with a Hornady LNL ap, I was wondering if you guys think it is alright to just reseat to the oal that I need and re crimp any help would be...
when mine started to do the same thing I just cut a small piece of cadrboard from an old ammo box and put a piece on each side and snugged it down with a wrench holds nice and tight just my .02
I checked the buffalo bore website is where I first learned about the 2005 cut off date and they dont put out the pressures but the FPS is about the same for compareable bullet grain weight.
Cool, thanks for the info I'll prob just stay with the 7.2grn that is plenty strong.. and maybe some soft grips will help out , had everybodys eyeballs on me when I started squezing that trigger. My wife and dad were just wanting me to stop so they could get a good shot off
Thanks for the backup guys,It is one hell of a load i'm not going to shoot it all the time i'll stick to w231 @6.7 grn but it is fun to be able to go out and have some by the book safe fun .The grips are the stock wood and after 50 rounds the hand is sore.
I understand what you are saying but I loaded these with double checking each load, if it was not safe why would they list it on ther web site.check each load on a digital and balance beam scale.Trust me I would not put my self or anybody else in danger over something like this and yes I am new...
YES THEY DID just checked the website and the book was right the cup pressure is one of the highest at 30.000 . what about dropping it to say 25grn or so , would a change going down this far make a safety issue
thats what the lee reloading book had listed 27 min and 28 max my hornady book did not list h110 for the 240 xtp any ideas if this load is out of line . I am new to reloading but follow and read the material I have at hand. let me know if anybody else have used this load thanks Tony
