Montana allows hunters to use any firearm they wish. However, it is a crime to waste meat, like from using a 50 BMG. And it is also a crime to let the animal suffer, like from badly placed 17 cal rounds.
Guy 2 was probably just scratching his balls.
And on private property why in the heck should it matter if he exposes himself (or his gat) in the process.
An uncle, who was in the explosives business for 40 years, explained to
me that uncle sugar primarily regulates the transport of explosives. There should be no aft issues as long as the mixed tannerite is not moved.
22 CB (low velocity). Available in short or long. My 94/22 holds a boatload of the shorts. They are so quiet that the sound of working the lever action is all the wife hears. More fun than a pellet gun but not any more deadly.
Dear Everytown organization,
I really appreciate the effort and thought put into the FFL database. I hope you would consider the following improvements.
1. showing business hours
2. cost to do transfers
3. if business includes gunsmithing
I will be checking often to see how this new tool evolves.
I like 22CB shorts. my lever action 9422 holds a bunch and they are quiet. depending on the maker of the ammo sometimes cycling the action makes more noise than the round firebug. ideal if the wife does not approve.
Griz will soon be legal to hunt in Montana. Problem bears outside the park will get knocked off by hunters instead of government employees.
Wolf hunting in Montana is working very well. Any sign of em near cattle and they are no more.
I am pretty sure that if he is working in MT he is required to get a MT DL and put MT plates on his vehicles. Six months is way beyond the limit for a working person to be without a local DL and plates in MT. Retired folks excepted.
The bright side is that in MT you can get inexpensive...
Moved 1200 miles. Our goods filled an entire (long) semi trailer and we were assured that the thing would not be opened until it arrived at destination 3 days later. Some guns were packed in padded cases with a layer of sealed paper (like with insured mail). I used of few of those cheap...
Visualize a wealthy guy's shop. Car lift, large compressor, nice lathe, several welders, torch. Killer toolbox. And what looks like a stocked coke machine. Bathroom and gun room on one side. Owner knew that thieves would be able to back a large truck and steal whatever they wanted. The coke...
"..a safe is better than nothing.."
A well-off friend of mine might not agree. His gun room had a heavy steel door. When you entered there were two nice sturdy safes to the left. If you bothered to break into the safes you would only find ammo. Most of the guns were in hidden steel cabinets...
The Sudanese AR10 is not seen much in the US and the scope ready versions are 4-5% of the total. The correctly marked AR10 Deft scopes are practically non existent since they all seem to have been left someplace in a Sudanese armory. So folks use the Dutch FAL scopes, which are the same except...
Sudanese AR10 (~1958) . Semiauto kit gun built on a Specialty Arms lower made in the early 1980s. Carry handle upper is a unique forging milled to accept a scope. Delft scope is internally identical to the original but is a later version made for the Dutch FAL (~1962).
The receiver in the OP is one of the nicest reproductions I have ever seen. At first I thought it was a typical Telko or Specialty Arms lower, (which at some point in production were identical except for markings). However, The OP's lower has reinforcements at the buffer would normally only be...
