walthers scant presence in the us market is a result of poor marketing,pricing and parts availability. for a long time the p99s were much more expensive than glocks,the mags are hard to find and very expensive and parts are nonexistant.

part it out,most don't want a package deal they want to set it up how they want it. sell the stuff you put on it seperately and sell the rifle stock. if you want to sell just the rifle i'd say 5-600 for bone stock

imho kimber is planning on riding on their name and continuing to put out questionable products. when they were in oregon pre-cohen they made a good name for themselves with quality reliable guns. they're resting on that and continuing to cut corners and put out shoddy pistols.

i have owned two beretta M9s and a px4 sub,all were excellent pistols. i prefer glock for carry but beretta makes world class,tough,reliable firearms....i am a fan. i group beretta with glock,sig and hk no problem at all. i only sold the 92s because i went all glock,i still might buy another 92...

costs around $80 to make a Glock....i'd say that's well under $600 :cool:
