Why? Holding it upside down worked like a charm. :D Maybe I wasn't clear, or maybe I mistook the meaning of the 2nd lid I have for the thing. It has long slots cut in it. I put that lid on it, screwed it in place, flipped it over on top of the bowl and ran it for a minute or so.

I never used a Lee hand press and I don't know the lee dies either, but don't force anything yet. lol Have you been able to knock out the primers? It almost sounds like you have Berdan primed brass. In that case, your decapping pin is bottoming out in the brass not allowing the die to run down...

No chit? Didn't know such a thing existed until just now. You have solved my mental block about going progressive. lmao! I didn't think it worth it if I had to decap and resize, then trim, debur, etc, and then go back and run the brass through a progressive.
