Has anyone actually kicked a door down? Yes with wood frame and hollow door, no problem. Metal frame and solid door not likely. Also inward or outward opening, there are slide bolts available to install on your door to reinforce higher or lower than your deadbolt to give added protection.
I have small kids in the house so it can't be out. Got a m&p 9 in the night stand with a coded lock box attached to the drawer. Plus my wife tells me sometime I talk in my sleep, so having a gun under the pillow would not be a good idea.
Just like buying anything else. In order to find out the market value, look at the comparables. Auction sites, shotgun news, online stores, etc.

I would have to clear the house. I have a 6 month old and 2 year old and there is no way I would wait for the BG to come find me. I also have a 125lb lab who is very protective, he would sniff the BG out, or at least distract so I could get to my kids.
Out of 10,000+ inspections that's almost 15% of license holders. Just saying it was an interesting stat that they put in the report. Even if that number was half true, it just shows a sign of our economic times.
Some may disagree with me but my 4" kimber has excellent control and you'll be able to make those rounds count. I carry my 1911 90% of the time, the other 10% is either my sw mp 9 or Fnp 9. It always good to have the option.
I've got a Tactical Pro and Ultra Carry. Love them both. Ultra Carry is my everyday carry choice. Local dealer also helps if there are any issues, which I've had none, and is very knowledgeable with the Kimber line, which helps with future purchases.
Just got off the phone with FNH customer service regarding an upper slide matte finish with night sights. $450, excuse me how much?, $450. I bought the gun new for $450.
Anyone else get this from other manufacturers or is it just FNH?
I've got a crossbreed iwb with crossbreed belt which work great together, however, my cell phones clips do not fit because of the thickness of the belt.
Just wondering if someone makes a gun belt that would hold up my gear without the double layer of leather?
Thanks.
