I added their case feeder to my LnL a couple of months ago and had a similar experience. I talked to support multiple times over a couple of weeks and just couldn't get it to work reliably.
All the problems, for me, were happening in that little funnel when the case drops out of the feeder...
I just read through that article and it didn't mention that he was shot. I got the impression that he'd had a heart attack or something - is that wrong?
Actually, you're right and I was typing too fast. I should have written that my ideal name is '[Last Name] NFA Trust'. That's how I named mine - although it could have just as easily been firearm or gun as NFA.
So you guys don't include your name in the trust?
Personally, it seems like a better idea to me to include the name - so it's more obvious that it's mine (although I know it doesn't matter legally).
To me, the ideal trust name is '[Last Name] Trust'.
I also use the Howard Leight sport muffs when I go hunting with the kids. They're great since we can whisper more quietly than we could without them and we don't have to worry about hearing damage when it comes time to take a shot. They also pack up very compactly so they're easy to carry in a...
Wow, if I had found those prices on an AmSec I would have bought one for sure. Everyone I talked to locally priced the BF7240 quite a bit higher than the prices you guys are mentioning - and it would have cost more to have it moved in as well...
Even with the higher prices, I had decided on...
Here is how I came to that conclusion on the doors:
AmSec door -
On the BF7240, which I was looking at, the plate door is .5" thick. You're right that the BF7250 only appears to have a 3/8" (or .375") thick plate door.
Liberty Presidential door -
Since this is a composite door, it has a...
Thanks for the comments guys!

I agree that the internal hinges would not be as good if you have space to open the door more than 90 degrees. On the other hand, they are actually better if you don't have space to fully open the door.
Because of the internal pivot point, when I...
Well, I got this new Liberty safe installed and loaded so I figured I'd write up a quick review since I couldn't find any when I ordered it. It seems like every review on Liberty safes is written by the Liberty PR dept, and everyone else seems to have strong opinions on whether Liberty is...
Those look like some serious safes you have there. If I ever move (and I hope I don't), then I may look into one of your vault doors or double-door safes. :)
Is it a trend to build safes lighter?
I noticed that the BF7240 was built with an outer layer of 10ga and an inner layer of 14ga - then they switched to 11ga/16ga. My existing gun safe has a 1/4" body, but it seems like the thickest gun safes around now (without spending big bucks) are...
When the local dealer dropped his price on the Presidential, I called Liberty to verify the specs. They said there is only one 7ga outer layer on the safe body.
They were actually pretty helpful and answered the phone quickly.
Thanks for the tip! I seriously need to try this out.
It seems like I spend way too much time stabbing those primers and chamber checking rounds - I could probably increase my reloading rate by 100 rds/hour if I could eliminate or speed up those steps.
a1abdj, I do appreciate the info you've provided on this thread and others. I realize you're selling safes, but it seems like you have an honest desire to educate people at the same time.
Not to be petty, but it does seem like Brown is taking a different approach. Those posts seem to be...
