    Polyester coated bullets..

Just seems like an answer to a non-existent question. If you shoot properly cast bullets sized to your gun and hardness for the velocity you are shooting that is really all you need over and above (or in place of) jacketed bullets. I'm still hard pressed to find a bullet that fills a void that...

    New Dan Wesson Model 14

“Potmetal” usually refers to an alloy of cheap iron and steel scrap that has been melted for general use of non-load bearing, ornamental use, etc. Sintered metal in fact, has been proven stronger than forged and hardened steel and is much less costly to produce, it can also be held to tighter...

    Polyester coated bullets..

No, that the coating will withstand at least the melting point of the alloy of lead. In other words its not going to melt and stick to the bore on the ride out the barrel.

    New Dan Wesson Model 14

Sounds like your Gunsmith is just a gun mechanic and does not know much about DW guns.

    Polyester coated bullets..

    Polyester coated bullets..

OH! Heck I though they were just in blue, and I'm thinking "crap! Now I have to buy one of the blue Charter guns to match, I bet if they come in gold it would match great with my shoes" :what: :banghead:

Graf & Sons. EXCELLENT Customer Service

AND THEN.....They always return your call if they cannot get to you right away....they always ship QUICK....they have better prices...they have better service....the only drawback is they sell out of a lot of stuff quick, guess they feel that just because demand is through the roof they should...

    Polyester coated bullets..

Hmm...lets see...If I have properly sized bullets for my guns I can shoot about 400-500 .357 mag loads at an honest 1200FPS with no leading to speak of, no more fouling that what I get with jacketed bullets. I clean every time I shoot so...Tell me again why I would want to use these bullets? I'd...

7.62x25 in a new gun? Would you buy it?

Actually, what we did is use a 9mm slide which is a closer match to the 7.62x25 breech face, and run them out of .38SA mags. We are still working on getting them commercially available. :banghead: yes it takes a lot of time.

    Not gonna fire this

If it is in NIB condition leave it as it is, it is worth more as an investment piece than anything else. Want one to shoot, spend the profits from the sale of the NIB one on a used model pocket the original investment and go shoot your new gun. I used to feel the same as most about not owning...

Dan Wesson 15-2 versus Ruger Speed-Six

IF we are voting, I go for the Dan Wesson. Pick a single unit vs. single unit it may well be a tie in accuracy, but, I've seen more SS's that I would not want than DW's. Granted there are likely 25:1 more SS's out there so that tends to sway the results.

Deos anyone make a .44 Special snubby besides Charter?

We have the Night Guards in stock, They are LIGHT, very good for CCW and great with the cowboy loads, you certainly won't spend a day at the range with full house loads, otherwise they are excellent. Current cost is 725.00 Rossi I'll refrain from comment. The Charter arms units are about...

Buy Taurus at your own risk, customer service is a joke, quality has gone down

It was the last one and they had no more on order. My thought was, ship it back, Taurus would either re-crown it and cut the gouge out in the process, or replace the barrel outright. Simple fix, I was told 4-6 weeks for repair.

uy Taurus at your own risk, customer service is a joke, quality has gone down

Okay, I'm ticked and I'm going to shout it to everyone I know. Taurus has flat out lied to me and jerked me around like a child. Little background, we used to sell about 10-15 Taurus guns a month, not a lot but enough. Ever since this little problem I've pulled them and returned the ones that I...
