    Thinking of Beretta 3032

I like the Tomcat, and I have a quite a few .32 acp guns. The tomcat is chunky but I can shoot well and yes it does fit in a simple pocket holster and pocket just fine - and I’m not a big guy. I do love my Beretta cheetah series including my 3 different 81s but they are rarely carried. I also...

Guns that can be "built" No Smith Required.

I have built a few AR rifles and AR pistols. I go with a lower receiver and pay to transfer from FFL - then build everything out with a parts kit or parts of my choice (i.e. better triggers, bolts, mag release, etc.). Palmetto state Armory barrels in most forms are pretty good and prior to...

    Nightstand Safes

I have FAS safe with Simplex for my nighttime grab, simple heavy as heck and works great. I also have a standup cabinet hidden in a nook in our bedroom - from Moutec (Amazon’s) that has electronic lock and holds my shotgun and carbine. Everything else goes in the Liberty safe. I lock up my...

    H&K P7 prices

This thread got me curious, just pulled the records on my P7. Purchased in 2010 for $669 “A” condition with box, cleaning tool, 2 magazines and booklet. Still have it all, no plans to ever sell. Don’t shoot it as much as I should, but enjoy everytime. Serial number says 1984, slide has been...

    Firearms appraisals for insurance?

We insure - without appraisal or need to provide a list of firearms - for $45K. Runs about $350 / year. No single item can be worth more than $25K, per agent. Pretty straightforward. These old firearms are worth more than I paid by a longshot, was surprised when check values. Not selling...

Pics of your parents that show why you like guns

Cute but no camera phones when my my dad and grandma went shooting. My grandmother preferred a .22 hornet bolt that she was very good with until her 90s and I have m dad’s 1947 Remington .22 bolt he used to put birds and “other” on the kitchen table when home from school. What we never had was...

Lipsey’s Ruger Shopkeeper .22lr still around?

We have the blued version of that and it is a really fun gun. My kids enjoy as do I. Never going to be sold and picked up from a local store.

    5.7 pistol?

Dust, no not the same. Lucky to see 1600 FPS out of the .22 WMR in the pistol. With either SS198LF or some of the other defensive loads, you get 2100 to 2300. Depends on what school of ballistics you subscribe, but anything in excess of 2200 or around there leaves a permanent wound...

    5.7 pistol?

I have an FN 5.7 purchased about a year ago, roughly around $900 new during a promotion being run. I have been collecting 5.7 ammo for a few years so have quite a bit stocked up - bought on the lows intending to get a 5.7 and PS90. Got the FN 5.7 but chose the CMMG57 instead of PS90...

    Ammo storage...

In the packaging, then placed in ammo cans which are stacked in a "safe" - actually an RSC from Home Depot. A little bit of a deterrent if someone breaks in - 20,000+ rounds aren't cheap. Have a dehumidifier and RSC is in the AC.

Build your own AR vs. buying a new one out of the box

I've learned over time to buy what you need / want and leave it alone OR out of the gate plan a build to get what you want. My colt 6720 is stock and will stay, including trigger. My build PA is a lightweight with M lock forearm, SSAE trigger, heavy buffer, etc. I like em both for what they...

    Beretta Model 100 32acp

I have a Model 71 inbound supposedly in Excellent condition. Just need to remove the faux monstrosity when it gets here. Love Berettas and have an 81Fs - if I'd seen that one would have picked it up too. My .32 collection has slowly been growing. Great pickup and enjoy!

    17 hmr?

Love mine I have a Cz452 Sillouette but with a walnut stock - my stock broke and CZ didn't make those anymore so gave me this one. I did a basic trigger shim and spring job on it and it is crazy accurate. Small and light, smooth action - I'll take it to an Appleseed one of these days to see...

    Were you ever anti-gun?

Never There was a time I had more trust in our government, but by the time I was 18 had learned to love my country and be cautious about our government.

P7 PSP and P30SK The P7 is a laser and my bedside gun. The SK is in my carry rotation but I'm losing to the wife - may get another one. The V1 LEM works well for me.

Real Reason for 380 over a 32 cal.?

We like .32... I have 2 .380 pistols (P232 and P238) and 3 .32 (Beretta 81FS, Keltec P32, and SeeCamp). The .380s don't leave the safe much anymore, but the .32s are carried and shot often. In fact, the 81FS was a gift to myself that my wife has since adopted to carry in her "gun totin' mama"...

    Henry Lever Guns Experience

.22 Carbine Bought this for my kids with big hoop. A lot of fun with .22 shorts or lr, plenty accurate for the kids and my old eyes. Lightweight, smooth action and utterly reliable. Great value, great fun.

    Help picking a .32 acp

I have 3 .32 ACP A Seecamp, a P32, and as of last week a new build Betetta 81FS. All are good and have their uses, but the Beretta is such an accurate, fun weapon that my wife may even adopt as hers. She shoots it better than me, trigger is great and the weight is just about right. Not to...

    The tide has turned

Nope Never see it in the stores - can't even recall when I last saw some .22. I have probably 7K now, and focus on ordering online deals to replace what I shoot. I'll slowly grow this still until I see it become more available.

    Rifle on the high seas

Towed torpedoes? Limpet attachments? Drops with GPS? C'mon you guys are smarter than that - sounds like too many mission impossible movies. We are boaters, fishermen, cruisers - I've been running from Turks and Caicos to West End since 1980. Yes protect yourself, but within the law and...
