    WMD Mega-Thread

Of course there were no WMD. All those dead Kurds died from old age, they weren`t gassed....

    Shotgun is WMD???

I know the squirrels in my backyard consider my shotguns as WMD`s, but I didn`t think anyone else did......

Hey, somebody's gotta bring this up

Numbers don`t lie, but liars use numbers all the time. Moore`s "facts" generally don`t hold a lot of water. He has very little credibilty. Forget him... Hey, I bought "Stupid White Men"; imagine my chagrin when I discovered it wasn`t his autobiography...

Massachusetts: "Owl brings wise words to kids"

When my kid was littler, I made sure he knew how to determine if a gun was loaded and how to make it safe. He also knew the rules of safe gun handling. I think that`s just responsible parenting. See, it IS easier to gun-proof your children than to child-proof your guns...

    Lever guns

Isn`t Rossi making a lever gun in 454? There`s one at a local gunshop. I think it`s a Rossi, but I`m not sure. It looks really nice. There must be a limit on how strong you can build a lever gun, 454 can be loaded pretty stout!

    Who has a Marlin 45-70?

The Guide Gun in 45/70 is THE lever gun, imho. I prefer the ported barrel and the recoil isn`t that bad. For factory loads, you can`t beat what Buffalo Bore offers, but they can be rather stout! Not for the recoil-sensitive.

    What's your favorite rifle cartridge..?

I`m glad to see others who appreciate the 6.5x55 as much as I do. It`s a great "all-around" round. I also really love the 45/70. Still a great backwoods round after all these years.
