Ok so I go on Winchesters site and apparently they made a run of them for the shot show(still listed) and somebody says it's gonna be back in regular production next year!!!! Tell me if this is true and what everyone else has heard.
Around here its around $25 per box of Super X, Remington, or Hornaday. Though some Farm and Fleets carry 35 Rem or 32 win spec and its very rare, but its considerably cheaper. Try Walmart some stores carry it heck some walmarts even carry 220 swift!
Either will be equal under 75 yards but the 30-30 has flatter trajectory with more energy out farther. Get which ever one you think feels better and whichever one best suits you're hunting situation.
Uh wow! That's a great price! You'll find it a enjoyable rifle to tote ours is quite accurate, too bad they aren't made anymore.it's a excellant deer/black bear cartridge and hornaday now makes leveroution ammo for it.
excellent caliber for paper and p-dogs but for over elk id say no it is accurate but with a winchester super x 150 grain it is 57.3 in down at 500 yards a 30-06 will have a little less drop but wont group quite as tight but a 30-06 will hit harder a equal bullet and bullet weight a 30-06 will...
NO! The 223 isn't a deer round at all yes it can reach that range but not on deer if you must use it for deer winchester makes a load they say is for deer but the cartridge isn't a deer cartridge.
