Nope. A 320gr load IS more lethal than 240gr loads---it will penetrate bears much deeper.

Ok, the revolver is completely clean and the cylinder still binds when rotating it--just in one particular spot. May be a tolerance or burr issue. Thanks.

Save the money, wait a few extra weeks or months till you have it, then buy a Ruger Devildog! You won't regret it. Search the forum and you will find that Taurus revolvers have the most problems out of any brand. Rugers have the least, and are the strongest. Smiths generally have the best...

BTW, I have some brand-new Ruger factory SBH left-over parts for sale. Basically almost every blued part of the gun was replaced. 5-1/2" bbl, grip frame, almost all internal parts. Let me know if some of you smithically inclined fellas are interested in a good deal.
