    Walther Creed

The PPX/Creed is a great gun. I have tons of budget guns and the PPX probably shoots better than 90% of them. The pre-cocked hammer sits flush with the slide until close to the end of the stroke. It is not a true double action trigger in the sense that if you have a failure to fire you'll...

What's the PRIMARY REASON why the Anti-2A Camp so often seems to be more successful at its mission t

There is an organization called Jews for the Preservation of Firearm Ownership so no, not all Jewish people are against guns. Anyways I'' sure the mods will swing by and axe this thread soon anyways because of how much it has drifted.

What's the PRIMARY REASON why the Anti-2A Camp so often seems to be more successful at its mission t

The media plays a large part in it. I watched CNN after Sandy Hook and literally watched them trash guns every hour for six months. Their debates were usually done at a ratio of 3 anti gunners to one pro gunner and they would consistently interrupt and gang up on the one person they brought on...

    EAA Customer Service Sucks

I edited my last post. Anyways I'll know better next time. Definitely not getting a Witness now knowing what a PITA it will be to deal with them should I have any problems.

    EAA Customer Service Sucks

A firing pin is not something you can screw up and hurt yourself with this design. It either is installed correctly and works or the hammer hits it and does nothing. There is no potential for injury. As far as shipping it back, it costs roughly $60 to ship it in and EAA is one of the few...

    EAA Customer Service Sucks

I am normally fine with buying parts and fixing a gun myself. It is just the idea that I should have to pay to send it in for a replacement part that they will sell you on a gun that supposedly has a warranty.

    EAA Customer Service Sucks

So I took out my EAA Windicator a few days back and put a few rounds through it again, no problem. The gun is comfortable and heavy, which is nice. I have the .357 so it is all steel minus the trugger guard and barrel shroud. The Windicator seems solid with many good reviews and I still think...

What is the lightest double stack 9mm?

My mistake. From my phone it literally looked like the absolute worst stippling job I had ever seen.

What is the lightest double stack 9mm?

I'm sorry but I have to say it, that Walther looks like it was in a gun store that burned down and the P99 barely sort of survived. Did you store it in the oven and half way cook dinner before you remembered where it was? It is like the Darkman of the gun world.

Repairing a WORTHWHILE zinc pistol frame

Whatever, if you want to be clueless and ignore the good advice you're getting that is on you. Regardless of whether or not you should or should not have noticed the damage, the fact that the damage is not advertised means you were misled by the seller. This is an uncommon gun. Anyone could...

Repairing a WORTHWHILE zinc pistol frame

At least report it to GB. You have pictures that the gun was broken when you bought it. You have proof that it wasn't even casually brushed on that the frame was toast. That is good evidence right there. At least write the seller! He may not even know the thing wasn't supposed to be like...

    Very casual pistol sale

I always check it over. I inspected an AK in a Walmart parking lot in broad daylight. I'd rather explain to the cops that I'm involved in a legal FTF sale than get taken on a gun without a bolt, like one of my wife's uncles did. Still though he probably figured after all the time you spoke...

Repairing a WORTHWHILE zinc pistol frame

There is no way in hell I wouldn't at least talk to Gunbroker and the seller. Clear misrepresentation of the condition. Absolutely zero mention of the frame being cracked in half in the description, especially given the price. It's like buying a car that the owner drops off and doesn't let...

Any reason for buying the cheap pot metal guns anymore?

The JA Nine sells for more than a Hi Point new and is a massive hunk of crap. The Armscor can be regularly found for $200-220 while a new JA Nine costs $170 or so. The price difference isn't nearly as much as you quote. The Hi Point is pretty solid but still regularly runs $165 or so now.

Which individual has had the greatest overall impact on firearms?

Most influential would be Browning. Many designs today stem from his blowback and locked breech designs. Favorite would be Kelgren. He was a major part of three major firearm companies that were immensely popular, one of said designs completely revolutionized the polymer pocket pistol...

    Bushing compensator vs Threaded Traditional.

Not totally true. The Tokarevs by Zastava have removable bushings. Still though on the Sig you'll need an extended barrel to thread. There is no bushing to remove.

    Canik TP9SF Elite?

The TP9 is great. I hope they either harden their current fi ish better or switch to a new one because that is the only consistent complaint about them.

Article - New Term: 'Super Owner'

We're objecting to a very biased media running a constant smear campaign on gun owners. Wise up genius.

Article - New Term: 'Super Owner'

Like it or not, the term super owner is not meant to be endearing.
