I re-registered here. I was on this site before most of you even knew what a gun was! If you believe my data is incorrect, then refute it with valid information. I'm a huge S&W fan, but that has nothing to do with the reality. One huge reason most departments use Glocks is due to pricing. It's...
Information purposes only. The DEA uses Glocks. There are no Federal Agencies who use M&P pistols. Yes, a small number of police departments do. No State Police or large urban departments either. I was told the large size 2.0 is being considered by a number of PD's. This came from a Smith...
The grip angle on the M&P is better than the Glock, that's a given. I also wish Glock would eliminate the humpback. I installed the medium size Beavertail on my new G19, big improvement IMO. The gun feels much better and easier to shoot, at least for me.
OK, but I've lived in PA and VA, both huge states and I've never seen any PD with M&P's. Maybe smaller rural departments with limited budgets. Just saying! Rest assured there are no US Military or Federal law enforcement agencies that have adopted them.
I've spent enough money researching the bigger world. My business partner was a licensed FFL and I had the pleasure of purchasing anything at dealer cost. Allot of fun back then. I'm also a veteran, US Army and participated in Operation Desert Storm. I could say I've had my fill of weapons of...
I have yet to see one M&P in a cop's holster. S&W's best years were back when the built steel autoloaders. Those were used by may PD's. I own a full-size M&P 2.0 along with a new Gen-5 G19 and a pair of Sig P320's. The 2.0 is a nice gun, still a sub-par trigger. No comparison between Glock and...
Not mine, but this classic is definitely on my radar screen! Full working replica of the real German MP-40. Uses a pair of Co2 cartridges, fires both single action, and full auto! Plenty of YouTube videos on this gun! Check it out!
This gun is so much fun to shoot, just for practice. I also own the real deal. The Co2 Version is an actual Sig product. You can buy their air guns off their website. This bad boy is all steel and has a real blowback action. Some photos at seven yards in the backyard of my Condo.
My local dealer has two of them. They call me whenever something new comes in. Another G19 wanna be. Nice gun, don't care for the trigger. S&W is the premier revolver company. Their new Poly guns are nothing more than, me too! Just my two cents...
I adore my P320 Compact. Perfect fir for me. Super smooth trigger, high-axis with perfect weight distribution. BTW, ain't sending it back to SIG either!
