Thanks Rob for the feedback,
I'm using 240 grain laser cast LSWC's in a Taurus M44 6.5 inch barrel. I also reload .357 Magnum and might consider to load that?? I purchase this because I was at the Bass pro in Orlando, expected to pick another power but with their terrable stock of powders the...
I have a pound of H110 and lots of 240 grain LSWC and can't find any reload information, I found info for jacketed but not lead?? Is this not a good idea to reload lead and H110? Is it becasue this power is used for full house rounds and lead bullets have limits?
Tks, Shultz.
I checked my book and your correct when compairing the numbers on the high end but I noticed starting grains are lower with the lead then with the jacketed.
I'm still thinking I could take the powder back or I can just use the high number as max load? Also whats the the best...
I was at Bass Pro today and was not prepaired to purchase powder for loading 44 Mag and had not done my home work for what powder to get. It was far from home so I got H110 since it had a recipe for 44 Mag and figured it must be Ok for what I needed and took a chance that it would be OK.
I'm...
In the reloading manual it's listed first for 110 grain jacketed, also the Bass pro shop in Orlando has a limited selection of powder unless your loading for shotgun.
Are you suggesting blue dot is not a good choice and I should expect this from this powder?
 I just loaded 12 110 grain 38 special JHP winchesters with 7.6 grains of Blue Dot OAL 1.435 and when I went to the range ( 6in barrel S&W) I noticed they were a little soft and when removing shells I noticed some unburnt powder still in the emptys?? I then went home and loaded some...
I hope someone can help me  I have been looking to buy grips for my model 44 taurus and don't find any listed for the model 44 only for the Raging Bull that is the model 444 and I think the grips are not the same but I'm not sure.
I have checked on packmyr site and don't find any...
I have one that My father bought new in 76 K14-3 and now that I have shot many revolvers I now know that this is by far one of the smoothest trigger guns that I have shot. I would jump on it if it was You.
I thought it would be Ok but I wanted to get some opinions, Thanks everyone and I guess I will be taking it out next time. I love to shoot this gun it accurate and great trigger. I noticed the pagerwork shows K38 masterpiece, does this mean anything?? Or do all the S&w's have this on the pagerwork?
Now I'm worried, just ordered the other day some of the same for just under 14 a box, better be the box of 50 or I'll give them heck!! I just checked the web site again and it for sure says 50 round box??
I guess I will have to wait to see.
I have a Chinese SKS that I purchased new in grease in Aug 1990 and was wondering a few thing?
Are all Chinese SKS made by Norinco?
How to find out when it was made?
Mine was imported by Keng's firearms specialty, INC.
Its matching numbers and has three chinese letters and a triangle on...
Thanks for your help and suggestions, I really think the problem is that the extractor is not holding the shell as the slide goes back, I think I will try shimming the spring.
Thanks again and I will let you know how it goes.
I have a P9R that has trouble extracting the shell, when it jams the empty shell is still part way in the barrel.
I have removed the extractor, roll pin and spring and assurred they were clean and checked the tip that touches the shell and does not look to have any chips or damage.
This...
New to the area and was wondering who has to best prices and also wondering who is best to use as FFL transfer? Might try to do internet purchase of handgun if its not to difficult. Would rather use a local gun retail if price is around 50 to 60 above internet price.
