I reload a lot of 38spc Top Brass........haven't had any issues yet.

Just to add a little bit more. I add nu-finish and two old shotgun cleaning patches to mine and after 4 hours, the patches come out black. Another good way to help keep your media clean.

Try using large cleaning patches for a shotgun and some Nu Finish polish. I have used the same bag of corncob for the last 2 years. It's still clean and still works great.

The plating is soft enough that you can still roll crimp. Just don't over crimp and peel the plating.

125g JHP and 4.4-4.8 of Bullseye works great for me
