in regards to my Kimber .308 Classic Select Grade hunting rifle. What is a better choice? Leupold 30mm main tube 4.5-14 power, but one is a 50mm objective lens and one is a 40mm objective lens. Do i sacrifice distance to the barrel for a bit more light? Would appreciate your thoughts. thank you.;)

One more question esheato; The small or big triangle. Is that the same dial as the zoom? so if I'm set on the small triangle but then zoom to 14x does that take me off the small triangle or o those work independently of each other? thank you.
