As the owner of an orphan TZ-99, I can't help but wonder if this is from the same blueprints, and hence a source of 'expendable' parts for the Tressitu.....

I find it's easier to shoot one-hole groups with my CZ-97B, than either my 1911 or Sig 220.

Then I must be gettin' your duds ! :D I used to pop quite a few .22s as far back as 30 years ago when I competed. I remember the failure rate then as being around 1 per 1000. These days I see around 10 per 1000. don't make 'em like they used to.... (& I'm talking about good hits...

I have been completely satisfied with my Sig 220 police trade-in from CDNN. The finish and grips were in good shape, and the mechanism was just getting broken in- very slick. I'd say go for it.

The laws of physics aren't so easily fooled. Best best bet is to get some foam, or rubber between your hand and the frame. Cite example: Makarov with hard plastic grips- recoil Ouch ! Put rubber Pearce grips on it and it becomes 'acceptable'. For a glock you'd need a Hogue Handall 'inner...

Pearce grips & a 21 # recoil spring and it'll be a whole new pistol. The reason is the recoil comes as a sharp spike rather than a long push (.45) I did the above noted changes on my (3) Maks and the 'perceived recoil' problem became moot.

Thanks for the cautionary to the 97 o philes among us who have not yet encountered this. Apparently a dab of locktite will remedy it. I had mine out the range yesterday, and it continues to amaze me. It puts them all in the same hole with little effort, while my 1911 and Sig 220 put them in...

If it spits the magazine out upon firing, it is not up to performing it's intended purpose. :mad:

The 41 is my favorite .22 pistol, I used one for many years in .22 pistol league shooting. It aced out my previous favorite, the High Standard Military 106 because of a more comfortable grip. The accuracy of the gun will exceed yours. Keep it clean. Can't comment on the boresnake; I always...
