One aspect of using a trust that nobody has mentioned yet is time. I purchased a suppressor (Form 4) and it took 11 months to get the tax stamp. I e-filed a form 1 to make a suppressor and it only took 3.5 months.
As a trust, you can e-file and as a person you can't and e-file tax requests...
I carried and trained with a G17 for years. It had a mechanical malfunction once, I caused it by polishing the wrong part too much. I have the ultimate faith in it.
About five years ago I changed to a Springfield XD 45 Tactical. Another trouble free gun. What's better, it is a .45 caliber...
If I'm awake and not in the shower, I'm dressed. If I'm dressed I'm armed. Most often, I'm armed with a Springfield XD 45 Tactical. If I'm asleep, I have my weapon on my bedside table. It has an attached tactical light/laser.
If I hear someone banging at my door at 3:00 AM I have a plan...
It was a law firm that created my trust. The name of the firm is Arsenal Attorneys, they advertise with the NRA among other places. The lawyer interviewed me over the phone (I don't count that against them I do a lot of my business over the phone too) and they set up the trust. I needed them...
I paid a firm to create a trust for me to use for NFA items. I had some questions about using it when filling out a Form 1 and they wouldn't answer me without even more money. Therefore, I hope that you all can shed some light on it for me.
Among other things I want to turn one of my AR...
I've been reading your posts trying to figure out why you are stressing on the gun and being such an ass
Then I saw you are from CA... I'm *SO* sorry!!!
A Glock 17 - when I pull the trigger, it goes BANG!
Every time
I mean it... EVERY time
In over 10,000 rounds I've only had 1 FTE (that was within the first 200 rounds)
Thank You Everybody
I really appreciate the response I've gotten. While everybody seemed to hit on the disc being in wrong (I knew it wasn't but I went back out to check anyway), it turns out that the disc wasn't the problem.
When I was in the garage checking to make sure I got to...
I'm not sure if I've posted this here or not some while back (I've looked and can't see that I have), any help you all could give me would be greatly appreciated.
I have a Lee four hole turret press (I can't afford any better right now and it mostly works). The disc powder measure doesn't...
I responded 9mm however, to a large extent it doesn't matter. If you and your lawyer can articulate (make the jury believe) that you only used enough force to abate a threat to your life then it shouldn't matter.
If one were to shoot someone 10 times with a 9mm and was able to discribe in...
My G17 on my person at all times till I go to bed. I put the tac light on it and it sits on my bedside table when I go to bed. There are other handguns scattered throughout the place.
All weapons are loaded, all weapons are ready to fire.
I'm having a problem with my Lee press. It is a 4 hole turrent press. I can't remember when it started or what I may have done to cause the problem so it is really bugging me. I know what the problem is but not what is causing it. First the information on the setup. Since the proble seems to be...
I'm now the proud owner of a F.LLI PIETTA replica of a 1851 Navy Confederate knock off (i.e. brass frame). I can't believe how quickly Cabela's shipped it to me. I ordered it on Monday and got it today.
I understand the need to reduce the powder charge to reduce stretching of the brass...
Ok, I just ordered a 1851 Confederate Navy, .44 Caliber Revolver. You know, something a bit different than my usual Glock or 1911.
Before I receive it and start shooting, what don't I know now that I'll wish later that I did?
Any advice would be most appreciated.
