Check out CCR. They have a package that includes the CPII/cera-hide that a lot of SIG guys seem really happy with. They are great to work with as well.

@dondavis3, The factory black on the frame is in great shape. It should look similar to yours when it's complete. To bad it's a two month process... In the meantime ill just use your photo for inspiration. :)
Nice. I'll be going that route. Mary is very nice!
The trigger and barrel on this pistol are finished in hard chrome. Does that give any indication of the particular variation?
Wow. Total turn of events. 226 gone and in its place a 220 W German w/ triple match numbers. Frame and internals are great, slide has some spots, but no pitting. Traded my G17 for it and 50 rounds. Broke it down - new springs, etc... I'd heard the old style trigger spring could wear on the...
Numbers match. The slide is a natural color, no bluing or finish. There is some pitting and the rust is there in patches, not just a dusting. I'll probably pass and save for something in better condition.
A west German P226 recently appeared at the local shop. It has a few rust spots on the slide, but looks to otherwise be in good condition. $500 and I'm sure there is room to move on the price.
What's the story with these guns? Are they worth a look at that price in sub par condition? What...
LOL, I love the passion! Like I said, his story is worthy of a whole new thread. The ability to actually aim was simply meant to illustrate he wasn't completely incompetent. The only things I'll vouch for are how dirty the firearm was, the obvious wear and the function.
DOD could have meant...
This guy is pretty full of bull poo, so I doubt he knows. I think he was trying to say department of defense? He also said it had night sights and a "trigger job." The gun had standard plastic sights and the standard trigger connector. If he hadn't shot. 3" groups at 7 yards I would have...
I did have one question. The serial number plate was bowed out a bit. I told him it was probably from the frame flexing. With no rail it was pretty soft and bent easily with figure pressure.
Hey all. I thought I'd share my first experience the "legendary" Glock persistence. I've owned a glock for a while now, but being a recreational shooter the poor thing gets a basic clean every 100-200 rounds - I keep it HD ready.
My friends and I are more surfer dude than anything else, so...
My brother was the same guy, but a lawyer. We both got into pistols as a bonding thing. He ended up with an XD9 and I now have a G17 and a P226. The breakdown... we both really appreciate the Sig, I LOVE the Glock, he owns an XD9 :D
We've put at least a thousand rounds through each at this...
Found it on my own. Here is is for anyone else looking. http://www.ccrrefinishing.com/pricing.html
Pricing less expensive..
$275 NPII (CCR) vs. $315 NP3 (Robar)
Does anyone know the difference between the NP2, NP3 and NP3 Plus? Even the websites don't seem to offer much detail. It...
"You might take a look at CCR as an alternative source. Their CS and QC is outstanding and I believe a little less spendy"
Does anyone have a contact for them?
