wow thanks for all the replies lol figured it out. used a paper clip to move the ejector out of the way of the slide through the magazine well and the slide came off reason for the problem was an upside down guide rod

just sold a good friend a ruger p-95dc showed him how to strip and reassmble and wasnt watching what he did and now the pistol is locked up something awful any help would be greatly appreciated
