Have one in 45 Colt smooth accurate and works with any load, have tried 300gr, 255g,275gr, and 200gr bullets no feeding problems. Have one load with the 300gr up to 1700fps with no pressure signs and recoil was not bad at all. Mine is good quality YMMV.

They make the raging Bull in 454 so I don't think a little 45 Colt +P is going to bother it. The RB series is the best of the Taurus line. Shot a 454 of a friends not at all bad for recoil. Take that thing hunting and show us the pictures of your efforts.
