    AR Keyholing

In a safe place, manually cycle a number of the rounds through the gun without firing. Let the bolt slam like it would when shooting so that it properly feeds from a loaded magazine. inspect each round after you eject them to make sure the bullet is not getting pushed back into the case on feed...

    30-30 COL headache

Have you checked the position of the cannelure on the bullet, I had a box about 2 years ago that the cannelure was off by about its width. I contacted the manufacture they had me send them 5 bullets. About 3 weeks later i got a box in the mail with a letter. They said that they had a problem...

    Cleaning RCBS powder measure

I usually just blow mine out with an air compressor. As far as the static thing goes i was wondering if anyone has tried a Zerostat? They are used by Vinyl enthusiests to keep static down on records when playing them which in turn keeps dust off. The only issue is they are kind of expensive to...

    New Brass Issues

I am not knocking Winchester. I am a major fan of their Rifles and shotguns, and prefer the brass. I just had a bad lot of brass, multiple bags with multiple cases in each bag having issues. I wanted to know if others had seen this also with Winchester, and other manufacurers. I am one of the...

    New Brass Issues

That is good to know about their CS, I will hopefully contact them here in the the next week. I personally have only been annealing for about a year, so as far as how often to do it, I am still learning. I do know that a lot of the the case life depends on the caliber.

    Benchmade gun destruction

The fact that the Police posted the pictures to their site is only a political stunt, and Benchmade should have know better than to get sucked into the political crap. Has Benchmade posted a comment on this?

    New Brass Issues

I am doing the annealing on them. I was thinking the same thing that they missed one when forming. A crack in factory loaded sucks just as much.

    New Brass Issues

Has anyone had problems with new brass? I purchased a couple hundred rounds of new Winchester brass for my 25 WSSM about 6 months ago. I just recently got to going through it (since it is winter). I always resize, and trim all new brass the same as fired. Upon going through it, I found just...

How do I teach someone to stop flinching?

One of the things that we did to help break my wife of flinching was I loaded the gun with 2 live and 1 dummy, and not let her know what order. Then let her shoot when she hit the round that was the dummy she was able to realize that she was flinching. Sometimes just being aware of the fact that...

    Rangefinders

Redfield's is a decent unit for Bow, it doesn't have all kinds of features, but it is very basic and easy to use. and the price is nice.

New to Hunting, looking to buy my 1st rifle

I would say 7mm-08, then the 308. I've hunted with most of the others mentioned, and then some. The 7mm is a great round. The bullets will hold together better than a 243, and it doesn't have the recoil of the 30-06.
