5.45x39 mags
Hi all,
I have one of the S&W uppers and a few of these C Products mags (they sale for 20.00)...
http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/C_Products_AR15_30rd_5.45x39_mag.html
They have surplus 5.45x39 ammo at a pretty reasonable price too, but beware that it may be corrosive...
Democrats' proposed gun ban list revealed
By Alan Korwin
Slipping below the radar (or under the short-term memory cap), the Democrats have already leaked a gun-ban list, even under the Bush administration when they knew full well it had no chance of passage (HR 1022, 110th Congress)...
Value
An easy way to determine value is search the gun sites and look in Auction sites (as was previously mentioned)...
I've been looking for a 10/22 for my son and out of curriosity looked at the Walmart site. I was a bit surprised to find standard ones going for about $185.00. On most of...
Bolt
You may just have to push the allan head...
Try inserting the allan wrench again and gently push.
I had an EoTech that would hang up...
Good Luck and God Bless,
Doc S
Butt stock screw
I would try a strap wrench.
That should keep you from damaging the threads and keep you from spending lots of money on tools
Good luck and God Bless,
Doc S
HoloSight
Look into Bushnell Holosight.
It's the same as a EoTech without the aluminum guard over the top and can be had for about $200.00...
The reason I'd suggest this sight is that target acquisition is very easy, they are very well built and easy to use. They come in 2 versions. One...
Taurus 24/7 Pro .45ACP
I have a Taurus 24/7 Pro .45ACP in stainless.
I've heard mixed reviews, but for the price, I thought, "what the heck".
I loved that it really fit my hand much better than the Springfield XD, Glock 21 and Smith & Wesson M&P. I also liked that it has a mag capacity of 13...
I've had a RRA and a couple OLY. I kept my Oly's...
I've had a few different pistol caliber ARs. 3 were in 9mm and one in 40 S&W.
One was a RRA. It was ok, but I didn't like changing the hammer and other parts out (buffer etc). I tried an Oly 9mm upper with a mag block and standard Sten mags...
Linda, Sorry
Linda,
It's not that we are looking on women as weaker and in the opinion that all women need only a revolver. He mentioned that she's not very strong. I'm imagining her having difficulty racking the slide. If someone told me they had a father or grand father that was weak, I...
Some people do...
Here's a link for Specialty Pistols.
I've seen folks there mount rifle scopes on thir Encores and other pistols...

Not a Auto
I'd probably get her a revolver rather than an Auto...
I know you're probably interested in getting her something small, but beware, the recoil can be pretty severe (especially in smaller ones like Kel-Tec and Ruger). Additionlly, she may have difficulty charging the slide...
Holosight
I have a couple Bushnell Holosights and a few EoTechs. My carbines don't get thrown around, so I don't really see any differences. If I put them through the mill, I would prefer the EoTech because of the aluminum guard...
I'm thinking about getting a Millett 1-4x24 DMS Tactical...
Look at this...
Hi Miss Debbie,
I'm getting ready to convert a 7.62x39 and a .308 Saiga.
I recently came across this: http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/New_Rifles_.html
Aim is selling converted Saiga's in 7.62x39.
I thought you might be interested in getting one that's already...
God's blessings to your son and family
William,
Like others on this board, I'm praying for Braeden, you and the rest of your family.
I noticed on your web page that you're Christian, so like many, I'm assuming that our prayers won't offend you.
That being said, There are a few...
CeramaCoat
CeramaCoat.
I have used it on a few of my own pistols as well as a few others that I did for friends...

So I'm not the only one who's thought of this:)
One way to get around staying subsonic is to shorten the barrel...
As for the "Twang" sound from the Mech Tech, I don't have a clue how to change that...
It seems to be most noticable by the shooter, because his cheek is resting on the stock...
I know I have to go through the BATF and pay a $200.00 tax.
I wouldn't consider not going the legal route. I've never seen or heard of anyone using a suppressor on a CCU and thought I'd ask if anyone had + or - feedback about doing so...
Thanks and God Bless,
Doc S
