Introducing Unimag (TM), Calling for volunteer tester

Mod Bikerdoc, I understand the forum rules, and I promise to keep this thread a pure calling for testing thread. I know I am walking the line again, but I promise to NOT selling anything in this forum. Thanks! Jing

Introducing Unimag (TM), Calling for volunteer tester

I have posted my story here before so I hope there are still some people remembering me. If not, here is what I did before: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=627618&highlight=longziz http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=634224&highlight=longziz...

Longziz #2, the universal AR 15 Magazine

Well, if we can be successful on the mag project, I will then have the time and money to push the bullpup project forward. It is not a question of if, but when. And yes, I will shoot it, but may not be the original one. That one will be in a museum soon.

Longziz #2, the universal AR 15 Magazine

That's right, I ressambled the third lower just before the shooting. Before that, the Windham was the only lower we had before I got my 7.62x39AR transfered back to me.

Longziz #2, the universal AR 15 Magazine

Well, looking back into the video I do realize that I did release the bolt several time. Most due to the fact that we only have four lower to take care of five uppers. Actually we only have three lower and the other is a loaner from a shooting buddy. So during some individual tests I did in the...

Longziz #2, the universal AR 15 Magazine

Hi guys, It is been a long time since my last update. Finally I managed not only come back to the States to do this, but pull barely enough gun parts and ammo from the current market black hole to make it possible. This is the continue story that I started here with this link and this link...

Why do you need an AR? My answer is,

Saw this on ARFCOM, and couldn't resist to share it here: "I don't 'need' AR15 more than Rosa Parks 'needed' to sit in front of the bus" Well, maybe a little bit too hard to get to the point for sweet babies.

    92fs or SIG 226 can't run dry?

Rule3, there are a lot misconception during the discussion, here and there. But what this guy, and I, means about "plastic gun" is the kind of polymer frame with steel insert. Although technically the "plastic" guns are still more or less steel on steel kind contact, the insert are usually...

    92fs or SIG 226 can't run dry?

JustinJ, my point exactly. The guy may have an unlucky 92FS, that's all. Using that experience and make a judgement on other similar gun with the same assertion is absurd. Rule3, "all metal" is opposite to "plastic" gun. So yes, alloy are considered as "metal". Aluminum frame in general are not...

    92fs or SIG 226 can't run dry?

Guys, first thanks all for your input. I am more educated now. Before this thread turns into discuss of lube, let me emphasis that my question is not about whether or not we should or how to lube an all metal handgun. It is about if an all metal handgun is not lubed, will it cease to function...

    92fs or SIG 226 can't run dry?

I am no handgun expert, but I think I know something about metal. I run into a guy in another forum claiming that all metal handgun, such as 92fs or sig 226, has to be re-lubes after two to three month time of none usage, when the last lube would evaporate, before the gun can reliably cycle...

Longziz #2. Is it just a magazine for 7.62X39 AR?

Now I have two caliber under my belt Hammerhead6814, you demand is my command. Here below is the link for the newest update. My friend Jimmy just helped me finished a crude mod on the mag and it now should be able to take any AR double stack-able caliber upper. However, Jimmy only have an...

Longziz #2. Is it just a magazine for 7.62X39 AR?

Well, by the end of the open post there is one video showing me shooting with it in the range. Here is the second range report. http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=DE#/watch?v=JHULHFcGZVE And here is the third. But this one didn't show a full mag dump cause my camera memory card was...

Longziz #2. Is it just a magazine for 7.62X39 AR?

what do you mean "runs", shooting when moving? Unfortunately my friend in Chicago do not have a range close by to do that.

Longziz #2. Is it just a magazine for 7.62X39 AR?

It's been a week since I started the post and it seems to me that whoever figured out what the Longziz #2 really is didn't actually speak out. So let's cut the chase and reveal what the Longziz #2 really is. The 7.62X39 has the most tapering casing among all AR calibers. If Longziz #2 can...

Longziz #2. Is it just a magazine for 7.62X39 AR?

68wj. As I said in the video, I bought two Cproduct mag, one is 6.8SPC, and the other is 6.5 Grendel. I forgot which one is which. The one I used in the video used to have the black follower. I tried my follower in the blue follower one also, and it worked the same, except I didn't take that to...
