    I would go for the SIG. I went through this a few years ago and love the P220. However the HK has a much higher magazine capacity. If you can swing a P220 Elite you will Love the Short Reset trigger. You will be well served by either.

    How much ammo do you carry

    Most of the time I carry a SIG P229 9mm 15+1 with two additional magazines (9mm MECGAR 15 rounds each). Total load is 46 rounds. On occasion I also carry a SIG P239 9mm with 8+1 with two additional magazines (8 rounds each). Total load is 25 rounds.

    For your AK Wolf is fine. You may want to be careful with any steel case ammo in you AR. Some have had extractor ware with steel case ammo.
