Trying to find a happy load for 7400 Remington .30-06.
On my range out back have this rifle zeroed at 100 yards using factory Core-Lokt 150gr Remington rounds.
Tried IMR 4064 using 50gr behind Barnes 150gr XBT with OAL at 3.240". With this load at 100 yds it hit 4" low.

I found out on another forum that the answer is yes, current grips will fit the old frames.
The only sacrifice is a bit less concealable.
I'm thinking $25 will be well spent.

Was looking for load data on the Hodgen online site for .223 and hoping to see H335 (or whichever powder) data for HNDY FMJ-BT 55gr but didn't see any data at all in the HNDY 55gr lines??
My Hornady Reloading Manuals all list good info so I'm not at a loss for load info but just wondered why...
