Pistol Grip Stock for Remington 1100/1187?

And, Speedfeed IV-S with SWAT plate = 12" LOP.

    Yugo AK

Yugos are a great rifle for the money right now. The only negative about them is they don't come with chrome-lined bores. If that's not important to you, then they are one of the best AK "bangs for the buck" right now.

    Speer Gold Dot 9mm 124 +P

You may be right. Then again, you may not be...you don't cite your source. I've heard hard primers, dead primers, etc. Do what you like...I'll use the "not-reclassified" stuff for real and save the seconds for practice. Best

    Speer Gold Dot 9mm 124 +P

The Speer 124+P GD is a great SD round. But, something prompted Speer to "reclassify" certain lots of the ammunition and take a loss on it. Companies don't just do that for kicks. If Speer says it's not good enough for Police duty use, why would you use it for anything but practice?

Model Paint on Front Sight - Removal?

Non-chlorinated brake cleaner (I use Prestone) + cleaning brush + about 1 minute. I've done it several times. Best

Where to rent guns in Nashville?

OnTarget in M'Boro has an indoor range and rents handguns and full-auto Class IIIs.

    Novak's magazines

The feed lip cracking thing came about from a company-acknowledged bad batch a couple of years ago...and the company exchanged all problem mags sent to them, IIRC. I haven't heard of any problems with ACT mags recently...I'm about to order a few myself. Best

    Which 1911 in 9mm?

I've got a Kimber Target 9mm. It is extremely accurate. The only thing I don't like about it is that Kimber uses a .40 breechface for their 9mms. This has never caused a problem and I've never had a malfunction...it just aggravates me.

    glock 18/c18c

I don't "own" one, but the dept I work for lets me play with theirs. :D To be honest, they don't really have a place in civilian LE...but they are fun.

    1911 magazines

That's the point, he didn't ask for a "viable alternative" and for all you know he has a bunch of "x" brand mags. People seem to think he needs answers to a question not asked... After reading the initial question, I'd hoped to maybe learn something about Clark mags (heck, I didn't even...

Wow, has this thread gone astray... I seem to remember someone asking about Clark mags.

    XD-45 4" or 5" barrel?

I've shot both. They were both great shooters, but I thought the 5" was a little muzzle heavy. The 4" just felt right for me. But, I also prefer Commanders to Governments and G23s to G22s. It's just going to come down to YOUR preference.

Best .380 Personal Protection Ammo ???

ball3006...having worked for a major city PD in TN and spending much of that time in the projects, I've seen a few shootings. In self defense shootings, many times the round travels through arms and various other obstacles before hitting center of mass (which can also vary in thickness). Do...

Best .380 Personal Protection Ammo ???

Personal opinion... For calibers that can do 12" of gel penetration AND expand...JHPs. For calibers that can do 12" of gel penetration OR expand...FMJs. Factor in that small autos can sometimes be alittle more picky when it comes to feeding as compared to service sized autos. For me...

SIG P220 SAO vs. the high hold /parallel thumbs grip

Old thread, but... I haven't fondled the P220SAO yet. I was thinking that this may be my next purchase, but this very issue popped into my head because I use a high thumb hold. The "pressing the slide lock inadvertantly" issue isn't a big deal and I would have no problem altering the shape...

    Kimber Kp-40

Nope. I was interested in this gun as well, but several reports from the Shot Show said it had a terrible trigger pull...that coupled with the mag safety made me start to lose interest. Maybe the production guns will have a better trigger...

    Beretta 92D?

I sold all my DA/SA 92 and 96s. I kept my 92D and 96D. I dislike DA/SA guns and don't own any anymore...I like same trigger pull every time, whether it's SA, DAO, or Glock. And with a "D", I'll never unintentionally "SAFE" my pistol when doing reloads or malfunction clearance drills.

    Blackhawk Serpa CQC

+1 These issues have also been discussed at www.getoffthex.com Apparently some ADs have occurred...press the button with trigger finger, draw, pressure from trigger finger hits trigger, weapon fires, now ass really hurts... I do not own one of these, but I am interested in the design. I...

    Sig's new Single-Action P220 Carry

Yep, I was sad to see the P225 go. It was my favorite SIG. A P225DAK or P225SAO...hmmm.

    LEO's Using XD's?

My MidTN area dept has an XD45 Service and an XD45 Tactical enroute for T&E. We currently issue G22 or G23 (officer choice). We T&Eed the XD45GAP. Most loved the way it shot and many were more accurate with it vs their Glock (I thought that was pretty significant since Glocks were...
