Picket bullet

My first impression of a picket bullet was that it was very pointed. It looks like it would have trouble going down the barrel as well as being a little wobbly in flight. I recognize it's evolution to The modern bullet design now. A good lesson thank you.
I shot my Goonerized Walker today. It has gone from a loved but difficult to manage beast to a SWEET shooting revolver worth way more than I paid to have it Goonerized. The first time I took it out, I had trouble adjusting to it. Now i can't put it down. Thanks so much Mike.
Ok folks, I am the proud owner of a goonerized Walker. Although as yet unfired, I must say that the look and feel is everything y'all said. Glad I investigated and invested. Anyone sitting on the fence about this, get off and do it.
Home defense
I have a layered defense.
1. 2 Shi'tzu s that bark at anything that moves.
2. 1heinz 57 with a scary set of teeth also barks.
3. A can of wasp and hornet killer that shoots 20 ft. I shudder to think of what that would do to a man's face.
4. Any number of ready to load firearms...
Fanning
I am having my Walker goonerized as we speak. I intend to do the same with my '51 Navy and SAA when the opportunity presents itself. I am not a marksman by any stretch but respect and appreciate fine equipment and will never fan them.

Pyrodex
I'm confused. I thought pyrodex was an improvement over bp. I would be willing to switch to Goex etc. if there was good reason. Local stores in my area carry Goex, and 777, but I don' t know about Swiss. Please enlighten.
